Mission Statement

Promotes and protects the civil rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through individual and systemic advocacy and education fostering an inclusive community that embraces people throughout their lifetime to be included in every aspect of community life.

Vision Statement

Arc of Larimer County’s vision is that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities: are supported by their community to be included in every aspect of community life as valued, contributing, successful, and equal members of society, to make their own life choices and their voices will be heard and respected, to have full access to employment, supported inclusive education, community wide social and recreational activities, religious or spiritual community involvement and community living. We believe that paid community employment is key to social, economic and psychological equity, for everyone, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and that Larimer County will have the highest rate of inclusive paid employment in Colorado not including sub minimum wage employment.
