How We Can Help

Free Individual Advocacy When You Need it Most

Navigating disability services can be overwhelming. Our experienced advocates provide free

one-on-one support to individuals with I DD and their families at no cost ever.

Our advocacy services include:

Attending school and IEP meetings

Helping individuals explore funding and Medicaid waiver options

Supporting families with short and

long-term planning

Coordinating with school districts service providers and county agencies

While private non attorney advocates often charge 50 to 150 an hour our services are made possible through community support so families never pay.

Real Impact. Real Stories.

The heart of our work is the people we serve. Here is what individuals and families in Larimer County say about working with The Arc.

The Arc of Larimer County helped us navigate an incredibly overwhelming system. Their advocate stood beside us every step of the way and made sure our child’s voice was heard.

Parent of a child with IDD

Without The Arc I do not know where we would be. They helped me understand my rights and gave me the confidence to speak up for myself.

Self Advocate

The support we received was life changing. Knowing this service is free and community funded makes it even more meaningful.
