Sam graduated from Colorado State University in 2020 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a concentration in Leadership and Entrepreneurship. He first became interested in working with individuals living with disabilities when he was 10 years old. During that time, he started babysitting his neighbor’s newborn who was diagnosed with a disability. His freshman year of high school, he started working with people with disabilities as a peer intern and continued to be involved throughout college through direct care services, job coaching, and advocacy work.
Sam played hockey for Colorado State and enjoys watching sports, being outdoors, and playing with his pet cat.
