Loveland Library – Executive Functioning Workshop

April 11 at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Executive Functioning…What is it?

Executive function is a set of mental skills that include working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. We use these skills every day to learn, work, and manage daily life. Trouble with executive function can make it hard to focus, follow directions, and handle emotions, among other things. (https://www.understood.org/en/articles/what-is-executive-function)

Executive Functioning (EF) Skills help us meet our goals, regulate our emotions, and manage daily life. When we struggle with executive functioning skills, it can greatly impact our ability to succeed in school, work, and in the community.

Join us and learn about:

  • How EF skills develop
  • Potential signs of EF challenges
  • How to improve EF skills
  • How to seek support for EF skills in school, work, and the community

This workshop is free and open to the public, no registration is required to attend.
