Ask A Disability Advocate

Do you need help accessing community resources or navigating a complex system in the community?  Visit us during our Ask A Disability Advocate hour at any of the locations listed below.
You do not need any appointment during these hours and all services are free of charge.
If you’re unable to walk-in, please call (970) 204-6991 ext. 0 and you will be connected to an Advocate.

When are Ask A Disability Advocate Hours ?

  • 2nd & 4th Wednesday each month 10:00 am – 11:00 am
    • 1721 W. Harmony Road, Suite 101
  • 1st Thursday of each month 10:00 am – 11:30 am
    • Loveland Library during Bilingual Story Time – 300 N. Adams Ave.
  • There are no Ask A Disability Advocate hours on Holidays. Extreme weather may require us to cancel Ask A Disability Advocate hours – please call ahead.

Who should come to Ask A Disability Advocate?

  • People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) living in Larimer County
  • Family members of people with IDD living in Larimer County
  • Caregivers or people who work with someone with IDD living in Larimer County
  • People who do not have a current advocate with us. If you have an advocate with The Arc of Larimer County, please contact your advocate directly.

Advocates can assist with:

  • Criminal Justice System Questions
  • Disability Determination and Eligibility Questions
  • Employment Questions
  • Individual Education Plans (IEP) or 504 Plan Questions
  • Medicaid HCBS Waiver Questions
  • Resource Navigation
