Matthew Mckenrick

Client Intake Specialist

Matthew’s journey in Colorado began in 2014, and since then, he has enjoyed the beauty and opportunities this incredible state provides. When the pandemic hit, he was working in property management, where he gained firsthand knowledge into the housing struggles faced by many in his community. Recognizing a pressing need for support, Matthew made a transition to a local non-profit organization in Fort Collins, where he began processing Emergency Rental Assistance for those affected by COVID-19.
During this time, he became an advocate for tenants navigating the complexities of eviction, ensuring that their voices were heard during a challenging period. With four years of service in the non-profit sector, Matthew has not only assisted countless renters and homeowners throughout Colorado but he has processed applications for state funded assistance programs as Temporary Rental Assistance Grant, Homeownership Assistance Fund but has also deepened his understanding of affordable housing in Larimer County.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing with his daughter. He also enjoys taking his dog, Kelso, for long walks. When he’s not busy with family, Matthew finds joy in video games and learning how to play the guitar.
