Willow has always had a strong desire to help people and change the world for the better. Her journey into the nonprofit world started with the AmeriCorps program, working with United Way doing disaster relief work after the flooding in 2013, and continued with extensive volunteering for the next decade. Willow went to trade school for medical massage in 2014, which she practiced for nine years. After leaving massage, Willow was delighted to find a way back into non-profit work and another way to help others with The Arc of Larimer County.

In her free time, Willow enjoys swing and blues dancing, science fiction and playing the cello.
