Walk-In Advocacy Hours – CANCELED
March 18, 2020 at 9:00 am - 10:00 am
UPDATE: The Arc of Larimer County has been closely monitoring COVID-19 and we are striving to play our part in reducing community spread. We are closing our office to outside visitors until April 1st. Staff will still be able to work remotely, as appropriate, and attend meetings virtually. We recognize that there is still important work to do, and we’re striving to perform those vital services while helping stop the community spread of Coronavirus.
If you are currently working with an advocate, rest assured that they will still be able to continue to provide advocacy services.
If you are in need of advocacy services and are not currently working with an advocate, please fill out our on-line advocacy form at https://thearcoflarimercounty.org/what-we-do/advocacy-services/.
To help individuals with I/DD living in Larimer County or their family members/guardians seeking information about basic questions, we offer walk-in advocacy hours on Wednesdays (excluding holidays) from 9am – 10am.
Advocates can assist with:
- Criminal Justice System Questions
- Disability Determination and Eligibility Questions
- Employment Questions
- IEP Questions
- Medicaid HCBS Waiver Questions
- Social Security Questions
- Resource Navigation
We are closely monitoring Coronavirus and are striving to play our part in reducing and preventing community spread. Staff have been asked to stay home if sick, and we request that everyone who would visit our office do the same. Please note that due to unexpected events, it is sometimes necessary to cancel walk-in hours. We encourage checking www.arclc.org/events for the most up-to-date information.
If you are currently working with an advocate, we request that you contact your advocate directly rather than utilizing walk-in hours.
Public Transportation: Our office is accessible on Route 12.
