Wrightslaw special education law and advocacy programs help parents understand how they can be effective advocates for their child. This one-day intensive training will go over what your child’s rights are to access a free and appropriate public education. Check-in starts at 8am and the agenda starts at 9am. Credits: 7 CLEs (continuing legal education) credits are approved through the State of Colorado Supreme Court Board of Continuing Legal and Judical Education and 0.6 CEUs (continuing education units) have been approved for this conference. The units are provided by the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Education. They provide credit for practicing teachers and CEU’s for a variety of professionals who need to document their professional development hours.
Please note – you must register as a Professional to be eligible for CLE/CEUs. Individual registrants will not receive CLE/CEUs.
*Early Bird registrants will also receive emailed pdf copies of Wrightslaw Special Education Law, 2nd Ed. and Wrightslaw: Special Education Legal Developments and Cases 2016 which retail for $29.95.
