You Have Questions – We Have Answers

Join The Arc of Larimer County, Disability Law Colorado, The Office of Civil Rights, Colorado Department of Education, Poudre School District, Thompson School District, and Estes Park School District for the opportunity to ask the experts about:

  • Special Education, IEPs, and 504 Plans
  • The Impacts of COVID-19 on Special Education
  • How you can advocate for your student

Everyone is welcome to attend – including parents, caseworkers, caregivers, etc.  The panelists will be taking questions live, or you can submit a question using the registration form.

Melissa Welch, PhD: The Youth Advocate at The Arc of Larimer County helping families navigate the IEP process
Jennifer Levin, Esq.: An attorney at Disability Law Colorado, Jennifer is the leader of their Education Team, which focuses on the rights of students in pre-school through 12th grade
Emily Harvey: A staff attorney at the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of the U.S. Department of Education in Denver
Jason Langberg: A staff attorney at the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of the U.S. Department of Education in Denver
Sarah Belleau – Director of Integrated Services for Poudre School District
Charlie Carter – Executive Director of Student Support Services for Thompson School District
Lazlo Hunt – Director of Student Services for Estes Park School District
