Annelise Tate
Youth & Adult Advocate
With over two years of experience in the field of disability services and advocacy, Annelise’s advocacy journey began with Colorado State University at the Student Disability Center in the Fall 0f 2021. Since then, she has expanded her advocacy and disability outreach work through her transition as a Youth and Adult Advocate here at The Arc of Larimer County.
Throughout her time at the CSU, she has worked with a variety of individuals with an array of disabilities, assisting with custom-tailored accommodation plans and optimally supporting the equal access and success of students. Her work experience in transcription services, testing services, disability accommodations and ADA compliance has led to her fluency in special education services, the SSI/SSDI application process as well as resource navigation.
She is thrilled to join The Arc of Larimer County team and is looking forward to contributing to the work of our team by passionately assisting clients and representing their interests in a variety of settings, educating and empowering clients in regards to their available resources and legal rights, as well as building cooperative problem-solving approaches around the interests of her clients.
Annelise firmly believes that every child deserves an equal opportunity and access to their education.
