The Arc of Larimer County joins 143 diverse organizations to address state budget crisis

May 19th, 2020

The state budget crisis prompted by COVID-19 has the potential for serious negative impacts for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  For that reason, The Arc of Larimer County joined 143 diverse organizations in Colorado signing onto a joint letter urging Colorado legislators to consider a three-pronged approach to address some of these concerns. We feel that the steps outlined may not solve the budget crisis, but it would help prevent the deepest cuts during a time people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colorado need more help than ever.

You can read the joint letter here.
