Re-Cap on The Arc of Larimer County’s 4th Annual Film Festival

The Arc of Larimer County was thrilled to host its Fourth Annual Film Festival on March 31st, 2016.This year, the theme of the Festival was, “Reframe Disability,” thus all films shown worked to dispel stereotypes held about individuals with disabilities.

For the first time ever, the Festival was held at the Lory Student Center Theater on Colorado State University Campus, and Connor Long, Denver7 news reporter, emceed the evening.

Additionally, this was the first year The Arc of Larimer County held a Film Festival submission contest to promote local submissions.  This 2016 winning film was, “Zach Wood: This is how I roll.” The film team was specially honored at the Festival, as well as awarded with a $500 prize.

The Arc of Larimer County would like to thank the Film Festival sponsors, which include, Resources for Disabled Students, The arc Thrift, The Arc of Colorado, RAM Events, Colorado State University Department of Journalism and Media Communication, and the Mass Mutual Financial Group of Colorado.

Additionally, The Arc of Larimer County would like to thank all the volunteers who generously donated their time and talents to make the event possible.
